Soft Tissue Massage & Conditioning

Soft Tissue Massage & Conditioning

Keeping your horse strong, supple and sound.

Your horse is an athlete, and like any athlete, they need the right balance of work, rest and recovery to stay at their best. Even the smallest imbalance, tightness or compensation can affect how freely your horse moves, how well they use their body, and how long they stay sound.

What These Sessions Do:

Each session focuses on improving muscle function, movement quality and overall comfort using soft tissue techniques, mobilisation and gentle stretching.

By addressing tension, asymmetry and areas of overuse, we can help your horse move evenly, powerfully and efficiently.

But it is not just about releasing tight muscles, it is about building long term strength, stability and resilience.

You will notice:

* Improved suppleness and range of motion

* More consistent performance and willingness to work

* Better straightness, balance and self-carriage

* Shorter warm up times and easier transitions

* Happier horses that feel looser, lighter and more comfortable under saddle

My Approach

Every horse is different, so I don't follow a 'one size fits all' routine.

I assess your horse's movement, posture and muscle balance before tailoring the session to what they need that day.

I combine tissue therapies, targeted to release work and conditioning techniques to help your horse move in better balance and use their body more effectively.

You'll also get feedback and exercises to help maintain progress between visits.

It is easy to think of bodywork as something horses need after a problem, but in reality, it is one of the best ways to avoid them.

By keeping the body moving as it should, you are investing in your horse's long-term soundness, strength and comfort.

Because when your horse feels good in their body, everything else follows - rhythm, relaxation, performance and partnership.
