I believe in a team approach to your horses care. If needed, I will happily liaise with your vet, farrier, saddle fitter or other professionals to make sure your horse gets the best support possible.

I advise that you are present for the initial consultation, or at least the first 10-15 minutes so that you understand the plan of action for the treatment and any issues that may be initially outlined.

After this, if the horse is settled, I do not mind if you crack on with other yard jobs or go for a cuppa in the yard room!

If you are running late or cannot make an appointment, I am happy for you to make alternative arrangements with a yard owner or friend so long as this is arranged/mentioned prior.

We will work within your horses limits. If they are comfortable for some work to be carried out, but not everything, we will work with what we can.

Whether it means slightly longer/shorter sessions or multiple visits, we cam create a plan.

You are welcome to book multiple horses in during the same session. I can offer a tailored plan for multiple horses with some discounts.

Massage and other techniques can support horses who are;

* Stiff, sore or struggling with suppleness

* Recovering from injury or changes in workload

* Showing signs of discomfort during work

It is a great addition to general wellbeing and performance maintenance.

Generally, I suggest giving your horse 24 hours off ridden work after the session. Gentle turnout and in-hand walking is recommended. This allows the body to adjust and make the most of the release.

You can pay via cash or BACS transfer.

Invoices can be sent out after the session with session records with the details on too.

From youngsters to veterans, massage is typically safe for all.

However, some medications prohibit the use of massage due to the increased blood flow and circulation, meaning the slow release drug may be pushed around the body.

If you are unsure, speak to your vet or contact me first. If you have listed medications that your horse is on upon booking, I will always obtain veterinary consent prior to the initial consultation too!

A typical session can last between 60 and 75 minutes depending on findings. Please allow for up to 90 minutes for initial assessments.
