
I advise that you are present for the initial consultation, or at least the first 10-15 minutes so that you understand the plan of action for the treatment and any issues that may be initially outlined.
After this, if the horse is settled, I do not mind if you crack on with other yard jobs or go for a cuppa in the yard room!
If you are running late or cannot make an appointment, I am happy for you to make alternative arrangements with a yard owner or friend so long as this is arranged/mentioned prior.
From youngsters to veterans, massage is typically safe for all.
However, some medications prohibit the use of massage due to the increased blood flow and circulation, meaning the slow release drug may be pushed around the body.
If you are unsure, speak to your vet or contact me first. If you have listed medications that your horse is on upon booking, I will always obtain veterinary consent prior to the initial consultation too!
